Section Chief — Sean Alewine
Sean Alewine lives in Greensboro and is a member of Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge. He has served as both a chapter chief, lodge vice chief and filled multiple lodge chairman positions. Notably, he is the Production Lead for the National Communications Team and Focus Vice Chief for Activation. He has served on Woodfield Scout Preservation and Cherokee Scout Reservation summer camp staff. Sean is currently a student at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Section Adviser — Brett Warner
Brett is an Eagle Scout from Goldsboro, NC where he was a member of Nayawin Rar Lodge. He now resides in Morrisville, NC with his wife, Jennifer, and two kids, Ethan and Libby. Brett is a CPA and works as the controller for a local real estate company. Brett has served as an adviser to the section in some capacity since 2003. He is a member of the Occoneechee Council Executive Board serving as Council Treasurer. He is an avid cook and enjoys searching for the best food he’s ever eaten.
Associate Section Adviser — Sam Pitts
Sam is a member of Klahican Lodge. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife Jenni. Professionally, Sam is a project manager with a smart grid technology company in Morrisville, NC. Sam has been a member of SR-7B’s advising team since 2012 and also served as a youth section officer. He is a member of the Cape Fear Council’s executive board and currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, traveling, playing music and gardening.
Associate Section Adviser — Robert Mason
Originally from Raleigh, NC, Robert grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. He participated in scouting within the Old Hickory Council, and as a youth served as lodge chief in Wahissa Lodge. On the section level, he served as a two-term Section Chief of SR-7B. Robert is a graduate of Appalachian State University and a graduate of Duke University.
Section Staff Adviser — Henry Goodson
I live in Southern Pines, NC and am married to Jan Goodson, we have two daughter ages 10 and 12. I graduated from Louisburg College and East Carolina University with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Conservation.
I am an Eagle Scout out of Troop 30 in Greenville, NC. I am currently the Camping Director for the Occoneechee Council and have been a professional scout since 1987. I have served as Lodge staff adviser for Croatan Lodge in the East Carolina Council and as staff adviser for the Tsali Lodge of the Daniel Boone Council.
