Section Officers

Vice Chief of Program — Parker Stewart

Parker Stewart is from Summerfield, North Carolina and a Vigil Honor member of Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge.  He is a senior this year at Northern Guilford High School where he runs track and cross country.  Parker is very excited to continue to serve on the Section level this year and help plan Conclave 2021.

Program Adviser —Kimberly Benfield

Kimberly is originally from Townsville, North Carolina but currently lives in Apex, North Carolina. She attended Meredith College. In her free time, she enjoys walking, running, or biking on the Tobacco Trial, spending time in the mountains, and working with the Camp Durant staff.

Vice Chief of Training — Sam Weaver

 Sam is from Clayton, North Carolina but currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a Brotherhood member of Nayawin Rar Lodge. He has served as a lodge chief and section recognition’s chair. Sam also currently serves as the region content and southern standard lead. He is a freshman at UNC Charlotte where he plans to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering. In his free time, Sam enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends.

Co-Training Adviser —Tommy Wallace

Tommy is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina but currently lives in Leland, North Carolina. He is a vigil honor member of Klahican Lodge, where he currently serves as lodge adviser. He attended Cape Fear Community College where he earned a degree in Business Administration. In his free time, he enjoys camping, watersports, travel, golf and just relaxing. For the 2019 Conclave, he is looking forward to outstanding participation for OAX from Arrowmen and Exhibitors.

Co-Training Adviser — Chris Nichols

Chris currently lives in Raleigh, NC and graduated with a degree in political science from North Carolina State University. Chris also has a law degree from Campbell University School of Law. This is his first year as an adviser for the section and is looking forward to what exciting service opportunities we can offer.

Secretary — Matthew Bobzien

Matthew is from Raleigh, North Carolina and a Vigil Honor member of Occoneechee Lodge. He has served in numerous roles including lodge vice chief of finance, section recognitions chairman, and is currently serving as a key volunteer for the national training subcommittee. He is passionate about servant leadership in all aspects of his life including scouting, theatre, and more.

Secretary Adviser — Nicholas Anderson

Nick is from Wake Forest, North Carolina but is currently living in Boone, North Carolina where he is studying Computer Information Systems at Appalachian State University. He is a vigil honor member of Occoneechee lodge. Nick has served as a Lodge Chief, Section Secretary, and an OA National Communications Committee member. Nick enjoys web design, traveling, and living financially stable.
